ISO 45001 Health & Safety Management system
We are pleased to announce that Stonbury Ltd has successfully completed its transition from OHSAS 18001 Health & Safety Management system to ISO 45001.
ISO 45001 is an international standard for health & safety at work, developed by national and international standards committees’ independent of government.
Introduced in March 2018, ISO 45001 is replacing the current standard BS OHSAS 18001 which will be withdrawn, allowing businesses a three-year period to fully align with the new management system.
Whilst it is not required by law to implement ISO 45001 or similar management standards, ISO 45001 provides a structured framework for ensuring a safe and healthy workplace. Looking to the future, this new Health & Safety Management System is a prerequisite for our clients affecting the success of future frameworks agreements and tenders.
