Stonbury secure position on multi-lot Framework with Severn Trent & Hafren Dyfrdwy

Stonbury is thrilled to announce their success in securing Lots 2, 3 and 4 on the ‘Distribution Service Reservoirs & Water Production Tank’ Framework, for Severn Trent and Hafren Dyfrdwy.

Initially running for three years - with the opportunity for extension to 2025 - the framework will cover live, minor and major repairs, to distribution service reservoirs and water treatment tanks across the Midlands and parts of Wales. Lots 2 and 3 covers live working and minor repairs respectively, and lot 4 covers major repairs.

Stonbury has developed an excellent working relationship with Severn Trent Water since the initial framework award in 2014. This framework developed from cleaning and maintenance to delivering individual refurbishment schemes with a value up to £1.5 million. We were also trusted to carry out a substantial programme of repairs to access upstands while assets remained in service.

“The trust that Severn Trent has placed in Stonbury through this new framework opportunity is a testament to our team responsible for the delivery of the previous framework. At all times they have shown exemplary dedication and professionalism plus a willingness to adapt and evolve their service level as required by Severn Trent Water. I am certain we will build on the fantastic client/contractor relationship moving into the new framework”.

Jon Featherstone, Project Delivery Director

Stonbury will continue to service Severn Trent Water from their central office in Derby, home to Stonbury’s largest delivery team and longstanding Framework Delivery Manager, Mark Coope.

“We are extremely excited to renew this framework agreement with Severn Trent Water. It is a very important contract for Stonbury, and a huge opportunity to work collaboratively, and in support of Severn Trent Waters ambitions for carbon reduction and sustainability. We are very keen to drive efficiency and innovation, which will allow us to deliver a successful programme of work, whilst extending the life of STW assets across a substantial part of the UK”.

Mark Coope, Regional Framework Delivery Manager

Stonbury is eager to deliver a programme of works that will support Severn Trent Water for the next three years and assist them in achieving their targets over the next AMP period.
