Stonbury secure initial 3-year Refurbishment Framework with Dwr Cymru Welsh Water

Stonbury is delighted to have been awarded Dwr Cymru's 'Service Reservoir Cleaning, Maintenance and Refurbishment' Framework during Amp 7.

Appointed as the single-source supplier for Wales, Stonbury will provide cleaning, disinfecting, maintenance and refurbishment services for the next three years, with an opportunity for the framework to be extended until May 2027.

"We are extremely proud to have been awarded the framework as a single supplier for Dwr Cymru. It highlights our commitment to the company, who we have worked with for over 30 years. We intend to invest in this framework to deliver an efficient programme of works providing long-term stability of Dwr Cymru's assets. This is in terms of best value both financially and carbon accounting".

Jon Featherstone, Delivery Director

The framework covers both minor and major maintenance works, including, internal and external concrete repairs, coatings, membrane applications & repairs, pipework replacement and external earthworks.

"Our team is really looking forward to expanding our services and taking a collaborative approach to improve the standard of water and potable assets across Wales. This new framework is also a fantastic opportunity for us to develop and grow the current Welsh delivery team and strengthen our client relationship on the foundations we have already built".

Richard Harrison, Framework Delivery Manager

Stonbury is eager to deliver a successful programme of works that will both maximise and extend the life of existing potable water assets throughout Wales.
