Stonbury is thrilled to appoint Trevor Hoyle as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective from July 2021. Trevor has an illustrious background within the water and environment sector and will continue to build upon Stonbury’s mission to become the top contractor in the industry.
Joining the team following a 14-year career at RPS Group, latterly as CEO-EMEA and more recently, Managing Director of Utilities at M Group Services (including Morrison Utility Services) he has over 30 years’ experience of growing multi-disciplinary businesses and delivering industry-leading performance.
"It is wonderful to be joining a business with sustainability so clearly at its heart. I look forward to working with the Stonbury team to deliver outstanding service to our clients and to making the most positive contribution to our environment, our society and our economy."
With the level of industry experience and expertise that Trevor brings Stonbury looks to the future with renewed confidence as Trevor enhances the company's offering of innovative solutions focused upon driving sustainable growth and the continued alignment of services to the needs of their clients.
Trevor’s skillset compliments the already strong company board which, with the new appointment, will undergo a restructure. James Stonor, former CEO, moves into the role of Chairman and will continue to play a key role in developing the Stonbury strategy.
"Trevor’s appointment, and the restructure, really is a statement of intent from us that we want to continue to push the company forward. The Stonbury story has been an exciting one and we want that to continue into the next phase. Trevor completes the skill sets and experience we need to move forward even stronger than before and I cannot wait to see what the next few years bring."
Ian Mellor, formerly Group Managing Director, will take up the new role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) concentrating on providing outstanding delivery and commercial performance, in turn allowing Jon Featherstone, National Delivery Director, to retire after 25 years’ tremendous service at Stonbury.
These changes reinforce Stonbury's strategic objectives, values and purpose as the company deliver through 20 Frameworks (and growing) across the UK for clients in the water and environmental sectors.
