Stonbury is thrilled to announce the securement of a place on the Service Reservoir Concrete Structures Repair and Refurbishment Framework for both Northumbrian and Essex & Suffolk Water operating areas.
For an initial four years, with an opportunity to extend until 2029, works will include internal and external repairs, application of coatings and linings to steel and concrete structures and other associated minor engineering works to a variety of assets including service reservoirs, retaining structures, water towers and river structures.
"Having been a framework partner with Northumbrian Water Group (NWG) since 2001, we are naturally delighted to be given the opportunity to extend the relationship between both parties. NWG are a key client to Stonbury, and we have jointly developed many of our systems and procedures to provide assurance that our standard of delivery goes beyond NWG’s customer expectations. The focus for the new framework will be further enhancement of our service levels at the same time as driving out efficiency both in value and green engineering as both companies strive jointly towards the same goal of net zero carbon emissions."
Stonbury is looking forward to further expanding delivery teams working within their Northumbrian delivery office and through their Essex and Suffolk Framework.
"We have already begun recruitment to bolster the excellent skillset already present in the two areas and seek to add the quality of staff that means we can continue to deliver the high level of service to Northumbrian Water that we have for many years. I’m really looking forward to growing our relationship further with Northumbrian Water, adding real value in the challenges that all water companies face, and seeing what success can be further driven out through our close working relationships."
Stonbury has collaborated with NWG for over 20 years and look forward to continuing their support throughout AMP 7 and assisting NWG in their goals through the delivery of innovative and carbon-conscious solutions.
