Stonbury nominated for IOS Supplier of the Year
We have recently been nominated by IOS for Supplier of the Year with Anglian Water. The nomination comes as a result of work on the IOS Upstands Sealing Programme and standalone schemes, such as Gazeley Water Tower.
The comment from IOS within our nomination is as follows:
"Stonbury have been framework contractors for over 15 years, during which they have continuously delivered a first-class service and remained responsive to Anglian Water’s needs. The work that Stonbury are involved in is often ODI critical work and centered around clean water assets. Stonbury have collaborated with our delivery teams to ensure that we achieve key project milestones, whilst balancing demands across the wider programme.
Stonbury support IOS and Anglian Water as a key part of the Reservoir and Tower Cleaning and Remedial Works Programme. There is often a need to return these assets back to service urgently, Stonbury have always proved responsive - often working out of hours and weekends to ensure assets can be returned ASAP.
Along with this reactive works, Stonbury have also been a key part of Hatch Upstand Programme - Once again ODI critical in its delivery. Stonbury have reactively deployed gangs across the Anglian region, worked accident and incident free, whilst working closely with IOS delivery teams to ensure works are properly planned and coordinated.
Lastly, Stonbury worked with IOS at Gazelely Water Tower to develop a new methodology for waterproofing above ground retaining structures. IOS and Stonbury carried out material trials and invested to develop a system that ensured we can remediate any future water towers."
