Our Commercial team consists of Estimators, Quantity Surveyors, Commercial Managers and Administrators. The team ensures contractual compliance and profitability.
Lauren Charnley Quantity Surveyor
I am responsible for commercial management on construction contracts, including preparing quotes, negotiations, cost tracking and payment applications. With 11 years of experience in housebuilding and subcontracting, I joined Stonbury in 2023 to further my career. I hold an HNC in Surveying. Currently working towards Senior QS and Chartership, I balance my career with life as a busy mum of two boys.
Bryn Wood Quantity Surveyor
With 27 years in the water industry, as QS it is my responsibility to undertake site visits, scope work, working with the project delivery team on quotations and advise on commercial matters to maximise efficiency. RICS trained, I currently manage the commercial aspect of Severn Trent Water’s & South Staffs Water DSR frameworks. I am looking forward to developing my career further within Stonbury. In my spare time I enjoy football.
Finance
Our Finance team consists of accounting and payroll professionals who ensure accurate processing of all financial information. The team also makes sure that all our employees are paid on time.
People
Our People team consists of HR professionals who look after the entire employee lifecycle including recruitment, benefits, employment law, engagement, and training.
Georgie Field Talent Partner
I began my recruitment career in 2018, gaining experience in both agency and in-house recruitment, and I hold a CIPD Level 5 qualification. Since joining Stonbury in 2023, I have progressed from a Resourcer to a Talent Partner, where I oversee the entire talent lifecycle and support on engagement and retention initiatives. I am passionate about creating a great candidate journey from initial attraction through to their development and growth with us.
Project Delivery
Our Project Delivery team consists of Project Managers and Coordinators. The team enables all of our Site Staff to deliver work on site, ensuring our clients are satisfied.
Dale Hickey SHWEQ Advisor
I joined Stonbury in 2012 as a Site Operative, gaining unique experience beyond typical construction work. After leaving to gain management experience, I returned in 2022 as a Site Supervisor. Within six months, I became a Site Coordinator, and a year later, a Project Coordinator. I am delighted to now be a SHWEQ Advisor for my region. With support from the team, I’ve honed my skills, have a professional development plan in place and am excited for my future at Stonbury.
John Scott Project Manager
Having started working at Stonbury in 2022, I have progressed from Site Coordinator to Project Manager and now specialise in slow sand filters. I hold various qualifications such as SMSTS and Confined Space, and am passionate about the work we do in sustainability. I am proud to be in the wellbeing committee making a difference to positive health and mindset. Outside of work I love the world of TV, film and theatre.
Ben Bates Civils Contracts Manager
I am responsible for delivering multiple projects in a highly collaborative and proactive manner, ensuring that work is completed within clearly defined budgets and timescales. I started my career as an Apprentice Joiner and now progressed to my current role of Contracts Manager. Since joining Stonbury in 2023, I primarily undertake work on our civils projects, for both Clean and Wastewater sites in the Midlands.
Site Staff
Our Site Staff are right at the heart of our operation. Our Site Supervisors and Operatives deliver high quality work on site for our clients.
Corey Douglas Site Supervisor
I joined Stonbury in 2020 and was promoted to Site Supervisor in 2023. It is my responsibility to ensure my sites run smoothly, adhering to the company’s working procedures through all stages of the project lifecycle, including health and safety, quality and environmental. I am proud of the qualifications I have achieved throughout my time at Stonbury, using these alongside my experience to help train and develop my team.
Brodie Pick Site Operative
After starting my career as an apprentice joiner, I joined Stonbury in 2023 as a Site Operative. I am currently working on the Asset Management Services framework for Severn Trent Water, focusing on sustainability, with the goal of progressing my career within Stonbury. I hold qualifications in Confined Space, CSCS, and dumper driving.
SHWEQ
Our SHWEQ team consists of health and safety and compliance professionals. The team proactively keeps all of our employees safe, healthy and well. The team also oversees many of our accreditations and audit processes.
Eduvie Onomuodeke SHWEQ Manager
Using my Master’s degree in Occupational Safety, Health and Wellbeing, my role involves supporting our teams across the West of England to ensure health and safety compliance. I am passionate about cultivating a proactive approach to health and safety and am committed to driving continuous improvement. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring beautiful places, playing games and spending quality time with my family.
Quality
Our Quality team consists of experienced managers and coordinators with an eye for detail. The team ensures all of our work is delivered to the best quality standards. They also support our new team members on site.
Supply Chain
Our Supply Chain team consists of procurement and fleet professionals who secure the right products at the best prices. The team also keeps all of our vehicles moving.
John Plumridge Buyer
With a background in civil engineering, I transitioned into procurement in 2017 due to my interest in operational costs. Now responsible for identifying, sourcing and negotiating the purchase of goods and services, I enjoy having a direct impact on our supply chain and building strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers and clients. Outside of work, I love bowling and am one of only four people to score a perfect 300 at my local alley.
Growth
Our Growth team consists of business development and marketing professionals who focus on maximising both new and existing opportunities.
Kimberley Dodge Bid Manager
With over 10 years’ experience in the water industry, I am responsible for the management of all strategic bid submissions throughout the bid procurement lifecycle. Since starting with Stonbury, I have gained knowledge in various aspects of the business including strategic growth, commercial and project delivery. I am passionate about the environment and enjoy outdoor adventures in my spare time, as well as looking after my pet tortoise, George.
IT
Our IT team consists of managers and analysts who ensure the smooth running of all company connections and assets. The team also ensures the best cyber security measures are in place.
Stephen Sandhu IT Support Team Leader
Working at Stonbury since 2017, I manage the service desk operations, ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues and ensuring systems are maintained to meet business needs. I also oversee all user support including onboarding, offboarding and device management. I am a keen photographer and in my spare time I like to capture special events, times and places all around the UK.
