Stonbury is delighted to have secured a place on the Environment Agency (EA)’s Asset Operation, Maintenance and Response (AOMR) Framework, successfully securing Areas and Hubs in all three lots.
Lot 1, the Civil Engineering (Maintain and Construct) Contracts, will involve the delivery of a broad range of minor civils services for the construction, refurbishment and repair of EA assets across the South West, South East and East England areas.
Lot 2 will provide a range of Mechanical Electrical Instrumentation Control and Automation (MEICA) services on a variety of assets within the South West of England.
Lot 3, Vegetation Management and Landscape and Habitat Creation, will deliver vegetation and arboricultural maintenance, environmental landscaping and habitat establishment and aftercare within the North East, Cumbia and Lancashire, Wessex and Devon, Cornwall and Isle of Scilly areas.
“This is an exciting opportunity for Stonbury to build upon the work we delivered during the previous FCRM Framework, growing our environmental capabilities in the North and South of England, and continuing to develop our relationship with the EA and delivery partners.” – Iain Weir, Sales and Marketing Director.
Each lot will encompass activities to support asset operations, including out-of-hours incident response, and Stonbury looks forward to leveraging its previous experience in these activities.
Stonbury will continue to nurture its successful longstanding relationship with the EA to help them achieve their strategic goals, including implementing measures to work towards Net Zero carbon following Science Based Targets and fostering sustainable outcomes through the collaborative development of nature based solutions. In addition, social value opportunities will also be a key focus throughout all programmes to strengthen communities and anticipate the needs of the next generation.
"“We are delighted to have been awarded Lots 1, 2 and 3 on the EA’s Asset OMR Framework in the South West and other areas in the UK. The whole team is thrilled to support the EA and supply partners in delivering programmes that support and protect our environment."
